Copper Cathode
Hydrometallurgy facility sustains production of 15,000 TPA of Copper Cathodes. The plant is fitted with state-of-the-art machinery that drives end-to-end metallurgy processing such as raw material handling, crushing, milling, leaching, solvent extraction and electrowinning. The facility also comprises an effluent treatment unit and a tailing storage facility.
Cobalt Hydroxide
Hydrometallurgy facility sustains production of 1,500 MTPA of Cobalt (II) Hydroxide. Derivatives of Cobalt have multi-industry applications in healthcare, industry, and technology. Given its high conductivity, this inorganic compound is a key component in the manufacture of rechargeable batteries in EVs. Currently, the plant annual production of Cobalt (II) Hydroxide stands at 5,000 MT for export.
Sulfuric Acid
We commenced supply of Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4) in 2022. The colorless chemical compound plays a vital role in mineral processing aiding the conversion of the mined ore into a usable form of copper. The facility employs cutting edge double conversion and double absorption technology to produce Sulfuric Acid of purity of more than 98.5%.
